A Hare’s Tale
An original uncanny tale of an encounter between a dying Medieval pilgrim and a wild hare, witnessed by a narrator walking among the ruins of a monastic hospital. The tale reflects on the twin difficulties of trying to arrest moments in time and convey meaning through images and words. The textured digitally manipulated images are based on original embroideries and three-dimensional textiles sculpture. Book size closed approximately 17.5cm x 17.4 cm. Casebound in brown book cloth with a
cover image of a hare and a black book-cloth spine.
